It may get stuck on power cords and socks and have difficulty navigating between different surfaces, like hardwood and rug.

iRobot recommends clearing areas that the i3+ EVO will vacuum before you use it, including clearing out any toys or clutter it might encounter. Also, keep the dustbin and filters free of dirt to prevent them from getting blocked. When the i3+ EVO's internal bin is filled or the battery is depleted, it returns to its docking station, automatically empties its trash into the station's external dustbin and continues cleaning the area where it left off. The battery's lifespan is around an hour-and-a-half of continuous use. It takes three hours to fully charge.

2. iRobot i7+ Roomba

The iRobot i7+ is the top model in iRobot's flagship line, and it comes with the latest features. It is self-charging and self-navigating. However, the most significant feature is its self-emptying bin. This removes the need for routine maintenance.

The Roomba I7+ is able to better map rooms with Imprint Smart Mapping. It also integrates with the iRobot Home app to let you schedule cleaning jobs and control your robot using voice or through the app.

The i7+ is more efficient and more agile in our tests than the eufy RoboVac G30. It also cleaned large pet hair pieces from any surface, including carpeting. The biggest benefit over the eufy, though, is its self-emptying dustbin which eliminates a major source of maintenance and lowers recurring costs.

We were also impressed by the i7+'s compatibility Amazon Alexa or Google Assistant AI services. We utilized these services to instruct the bagless robot vacuum on how to begin, stop, or pause cleaning sessions and also to move around the room, and vacuum a particular area. The iRobot Home App made it easy to connect the i7+ to these services. After connecting to these services, we were able communicate with the i7+ using voice commands like "Hey Alexa, vacuum the master bedroom." The iRobot Home App also offers options for managing i7+ settings and monitoring the performance.
